Bikestan Crank Addicts crowned 5th National Road Cycling Championships champions!

Bikestan Crank Addicts crowned the champions of National Road Cycling Championships in Men's and Women's categories while SSGC finished at runners up spot of both categories.

 

5th National Road Cycling Championships concluded successfully where a total of seven teams from all over the Pakistan competed in 4-day event.

In the men's singles event at the 5th National Road Cycling Championships, Ali Ilyas managed a successful defense of his title as he retained the Pakistan's Road Champion title with stunning 36 points.

In the Elite Women's singles event, Kanza Malik Baikistan became the champion with 27 points.

In the women's team event, Bikestan Crank Addicts took the honors with 132 points. In the men's team event, Bikestan Crank Addicts claimed the title with 118 points.

Abdul Wahid of Balochistan was declared the champion with 25 points in the main junior while Unsa Babar of Islamabad was declared the champion with 30 points in the women's junior.

The closing ceremony was held at Sea View Do Darya Road in which Mrs Wasim Akram distributed the prizes among the winners.

Syed Azhar Ali Shah, President, Pakistan Cycling Federation, thanked all the distinguished guests, especially Nisar Ahmed and the Organizing Secretary, and congratulated the winning athletes.
