KFUA Inter School Futsal Tournament from 7th February

Karachi Friends United Association is hosting the Second Inter School FUTSAL Tournament in under 13 and under 17 categories for Boys & Girls Separately from 7th to 9th February at Sport timeout Futsal Court Gizri DHA.

As per the rules, the teams will be divided into two or four pools or a single league depending upon the finalized teams that confirm their participation. To encourage participation, more than one team from a school has been allowed to  participate in the tournament.

Only the current full-time students studying in School are eligible to participate in the forthcoming tournament which will have to be certified by school principal. Students born on or after 1.1.2007 for U-13 & 1.1.2003 for U-17 are eligible to appear in the tournament.

Rules: 

Top two teams from the pool will qualify for the Semifinals/Quarter Finals.  

Teams must submit a list of names of player along with the Student Identity Cards before every match. These may be collected back after the match from the match officials.  

Teams must remember that a neutral panel of referees is conducting the tournament and its judgment must be respected at all times.  

Players must wear team uniform (numbered). Without uniform the player will not be allowed to participate in the match.

Presence of coordinator/coach is prerequisite for a team to qualify for the match.

The decision of the Organizing Committee in all matters concerning the tournament shall be final. The organizing committee for the tournament reserves the right to take any decision or action as per its discretion and this may not be challenged in any way whatsoever.

Teams should reach the ground at least 30 minutes before the scheduled time of each match.

A walkover will be awarded if a team fails to appear within 30 minutes of the scheduled time

Any misbehavior on the part of any team/coach/player could lead to disqualification.

Points shall be awarded by the following system: a) Win/Walkover: 04 b) Draw: 02 c) Loss: 00

Runners up and the winning team will be awarded trophies. Certificates of participation will be awarded to all members of the participating teams. 

The time of each half is 10 minutes and 2 minutes break between two halves. (Five a Side with Rolling Sub).  

The team Captain/Officials has the responsibility of maintaining discipline and healthy atmosphere during the matches.

Any School, which includes an unqualified player, is liable to be disqualified from the participation in the tournament on a protest lodged by a school through the referee to the organizing committee along with non-refundable protest fee of Rs. 10,000/-. No protest shall be entertained without the protest fee.

Rubber gripers are only allowed in Court.
