SSGC wins 65th National Track Cycling Championships 2019
Sui Southern Gas Company (SSGC) won both men’s and women’s titles to clinch the 65th National Track Cycling Championships at Velodrome of Nishtar Park Sports Complex, Lahore.
Sui Southern Gas Company (SSGC) triumphed in the 65th edition of National Track Cycling Championship 2019 that concluded at Velodrome of Nishtar Park Sports Complex, Lahore.
SSGC were followed by Punjab on the second place.
SSGC ladies also dominated the senior women event winning the first position while Punjab finished second.
SSGC grabbed 171 points to claim the men’s title followed by second-placed Punjab (94 points) and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (38).
In the women’s section, SSGC earned 165 points to seize the title. KP (68) came second and Punjab (62) third.
Meanwhile, SSGC’s Abdur Razzaq was declared men’s champion and Rajia Shabbir of the same organisation earned the title in women’s category.
Punjab’s Nasheema was pronounced champion in women’s junior category while Mohammad Sharif of the same province was named best cyclist in men’s junior section.
Punjab also won both the events of boys and girls of the junior championship.
