Mohammad Dawood wins International Road Cycle Race from Lahore to Sahiwal 2019

To celebrate the birthday of Quaid-e-Azam Mohammad Ali Jinnah, Pakistan Cycling Federation organized an International Road Cycle Race from Lahore to Sahiwal 2019, which successfully concluded in Lahore.

Pakistan Cycling Federation and Punjab Cycling Association jointly organized an International Road Cycle Race from Lahore to Sahiwal 2019 to celebrate the birthday of Quaid-e-Azam Mohammad Ali Jinnah, which successfully concluded with Mohammad Dawood of Railways claiming the title by covering the required distance in 59 minutes and one second.

He was followed by Kifayatullah of Balochistan while Mohammad Azam from Punjab settled for the third spot. Another cyclist from Punjab named Shakeel earned the fourth palce and Sanaullah finished fifth. 

All affiliated units of Pakistan Cycling Federation including the four provinces, Pakistan Army, WAPDA, Railways, Police and Higher Education Commission fielded their cyclists to compete in this event which started from Punjab Stadium, Lahore at 08:30 AM sharp and passed through Multan Road National Highway and culminated at Sahiwal at 01:30 PM. 

At Sahiwal, Akbar Murad, Divisional Officer Sports and Naeem Nisar, President Sahiwal Cycling Association received the cyclists at the finish line and Commissioner Sahiwal Division was the chief guest at the concluding ceremony, who distributed the trophies and cash awards to the winners.

Chaudhry Noraiz Shakoor Khan, Chairman Pakistan Cycling Federation, was the guest of honor.
