Pakistan ready to host 7 nations for Circle Style Kabaddi World Cup 2020
Pakistan is all set to host 7 countries in Circle Style Kabaddi World Cup which will be held from 12 to 18 January, next year at four different cities of the country.
Pakistan Kabaddi Federation (PKF) along with PKF Secretary, Rana Sarwar stated in a press conference that Pakistan will be hosting the Circle-Style Kabaddi World Cup 2020 from 12 to 18 January at four different cities of the country which include: Lahore, Faisalabad, Nankana Sahib and Kartarpur.
A total of seven (7) nations will be competing for the ultimate title of the World Cup which namely are: the hosts Pakistan, Australia, England, Iran, Canada and Kenya while India has also expressed its desire to participate in the World Cup, however, their participation depends upon the country’s security conditions.
Enchanting winning cash prize of Rupees 10 Million has been allocated for the World Cup while the Runner ups will get Rupees 7.5 Million. The team to settle for the third positions will be given Rupees 5 Million. An exhibition fixture will also be played between the women’s sides of Pakistan and Azerbaijan.
PKF President, Chaudhry Shafay expressed his excitement saying,
“We are excited about this event. We are prepared well for the event and will try to host it in the best possible way. This event will help us bring the game in limelight in the country.”
