ICA to hold DHA Cycle Race on 22nd September
Defence Housing Authority (DHA) is organizing the DHA Cycling Race 2019 in collaboration with the Islamabad Cycling Association(ICA) on 22nd September in Islamabad.
Defence Housing Authority (DHA) is organizing the DHA Cycling Race 2019 in collaboration with the Islamabad Cycling Association(ICA) on 22nd September in Islamabad.
The races are open to all as all cyclists are welcomed to join the races free of cost but bring your CNIC/B-form for registration.
There will be following categories for the races:
- Men (Islamabad to DHA via the Islamabad Expressway)
- Women’s (at DHA)
- Boys (Under 15) (at DHA)
Timings:
- Opening ceremony at Faisal Mosque (Informal): 7:00am
- Registration for Men's Race Starts : 7:00AM
- Races will Start: 8:30 AM
- Registration for Women Race (DHA Phase 2): 9:00 AM
- Race Start Time: 9:45 AM
- Registration for Boys (DHA Phase 2): 9:45 AM
- Race Start Time: 10:20 AM
- Basic Orientation Session about Cycling: 11:00 AM
- Closing Ceremony: 11:30 AM
- Refreshments/Lunch: 12:30 PM
ICA will not be providing bicycles on the race day. Traffic will not be completely closed for the races
. Bicycle riding is an inherently dangerous sport. Cycle race under the banner of Islamabad Cycling Association (ICA) is open for public participation. ICA does not assume any liability for your participation. During the event, ICA shall not accept any liability for any injury, loss, or damage incurred from participating in cycle race.
