Obaid Ullah grabs Independence Day Cycle Race 2019 trophy

Peshawar’s Obaid Ullah grabbed the Independence Day Cycling Race trophy held here at Northern By-Pass in the provincial metropolis.

Talented cyclist from Peshawar, Obaid Ullah itched his name of the top spot of  Independence Day Cycle Race 2019 with recording his best time, followed by Siddiq, also from Peshawar. Third position went to Aftab belonging from Swat while Aziz of Mardan and Ijaz, also of Peshawar claimed fourth and fifth position wheresd Ajmal of Dera Ismail Khan came sixth.

Pakistan Cycling Federation (PCF) organized the Independence Day Cycle Race which featured cyclists from all the seven divisional headquarters comprising Dera Ismail Khan, Bannu, Kohat, Mardan, Hazara, Swat and Peshawar.

Several talented athletes were seen in complete action with displaying their best skills at accuracy and speed so as to earn top honors of this event. The race covered a distance of 25 meters  of the individual time trials. 

At the end, chief guest Nazim Town-I Zahid Nadeem gave away trophies and cash prize to the position holders in the presence f Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Cycling Association President, Nisar Ahmad, Secretary, Nasir Mohmand, DSO Peshawar, Jaffar Shah, officials, players and a large number of spectators.
