Ehsan Ullah win 1st District Nazim Cycle Race

Khyber Pakhtunkhawa Cycling Association’s one-day First District Nazim Cycle Race conclcuded successfully yesterday at Tehmash Khan Football Stadium in Peshawar.

Khyber Pakhtunkhawa Cycling Association organized the one-day District Nazim Cycle Race for the very first time in which cyclists only from the affiliated clubs of Peshawar participated.

The race stared at 08 O’clock in the morning from Chamkani CNG Pump which was the starting point of the race and this race covered a distance of 43 kilometers and ended on the same spot as the starting one.

Charsada’s Ehsan Ullah was the cyclist who crossed the finish line first which earned him the first spot in the race and he was followed by Peshawar’s Akhtar who stands at the second position. Whereas, the third position went to Irshad.

Nazim Peshawar, Asim Khan and Deputy Commissioner Peshawar, Imran Ahmed were the chief guest on the concluding ceremony held at Tehmash Khan Football Stadium at 11:30 AM and they also distribute prizes, trophies and certificates to the winners and participants of the race.

Also present on the ocassion were Khyber Pakhtunkhawa Cycling Association President, Nisar Ahmad, DSO Peshawar, Jamshad Baloch, along with Sports Incharge District Peshawar, Waseem Akram.
