Super Kabaddi league moves into Pool Eliminator

On the fifth day of super Kabaddi league, Sahiwal Bulls carved out a big victory against Gawadar Bahadurs in the first encounter of the Pool A where Bulls showed great kabaddi skills to won the nail biting competition while sajid shaukat of Bulls was awarded Man of the Match title as he scored 16 points for their team to won the tough fight with the final score of 36-34. 

The second match of pool A was played between Karachi Zorawars and Lahore Thunder where Zarowars played marvelously as they did not allowed Thunders to score points easily and won the match with a big margin of 19 points by the score of 51-32 while Muhammad Nadeem of Zorawars was declared the best player of the match. Lahore Thunder didn’t win any match during the league and will face off Sahiwal Bulls in the pool A eliminator at 7:00 pm.

In the most exciting match of the fifth day, Kashmir Janbaaz scraped past Peshawar Haiders by 39-34. Pool-B points table leader Peshawar Haiders took an early lead and continued to maintain their lead over Janbaaz. At 29-24, the bottom most team of pool B, Kashmir mounted an impressive fight back as they bounced back to make it 29 each with less than five minutes remaining in the second half. Janbaaz’s further gained a lead from there to get a commanding position for the first time in the match. It was a neck and neck fight and although raiders of both the sides were excellent, their defenses failed to impress. Undefeated Peshawar could not break Kashmir’s momentum as they lost by 39-34. Despite the upset victory, KashmirJanbaaz will have to face Islamabad All stars in the pool B eliminator at 8:30 pm.

In the last match Multan Sikandars produced a skillful game as they defeated Faisalabad Sherdils in a close tough fight by 33-30. Multan secured the third position with this win to avoid the pool eliminator with Islamabad All Stars .
