Super Kabaddi League kicks off today
A colorful ceremony of the inaugural Pakistan's first Super Kabaddi League was held at Alhamra Cultural Complex in Lahore.
First edition of Action packed Super Kabaddi League is all set to roll into action today at Punjab Stadium while a colorful opening ceremony was held at Alhamra Cultural Complex in Lahore on Tuesday, April 30, 2018.
According to the Secretary Pakistan Kabaddi Federation (PKF) Muhammad Sarwar, a total of sixteen international players from seven countries and 116 national players will be seen in action in the league. Main fixtures of the league will start today and conclude on 10th of this month.
Teams are divided into two pools where Pool A is comprised of Gujrat Warriors, Gwadar Bahadurs, Lahore Thunders, Sahiwal Hills and Karachi Zor-aawars, while Pool B on Islamabad All-Stars, Peshawar Haiders, Faisalabad Sherdils, Kahmir Janbaaz and Multan Sikandars. Moreover, the League will have two kabaddi matches with women teams.
It is pertinent to mention here that Franchised based teams representing cities of Lahore, Multan Gujrat, Karachi, Islamabad, Gwadar, Faisalabad and Peshawar will feature in the inaugural edition of Super Kabaddi League.
