Pakistan's No. 1 scrabble player Wasim Khatri emerges Champion of 8th Scrabble Ranking Tournament

The participation was limited to only 60 players due to social distancing requirements.

Pakistan's No. 1 player Wasim Khatri was in fine form notching up impressive wins against fellow players in the Masters category. Wasim took the winner trophy with 8 wins out of nine games with a spread of 1391.

Veteran Tariq Pervez played his first tournament after more than a year showed no signs of rustiness taking the 2nd position with 7 wins and a spread of 319. Another veteran M. Inayatullah finished 3rd with 7 wins and a spread of 265.

In the recreational category Jawwad Ali outscored all his opponents and took the first position with 6 wins and a spread of 1111. The second position was clinched by Muzammil Hasan with 6 wins and a spread of 783 while Ahmed Salman also won 6 games but finished 3rd with a spread of 324.

The chief guest Mr. Wali Muhammad distributed the trophies among the winners.
