PNF Netball Academy edge out Karachi Netball Academy 10-5 to claim Pink Sports Day Women Netball Tournament 2020 title

Pakistan Netball Federation and MNA Saima Nadeem, Parliamentary Secretary, Inter-Provincial Coordination, Government of Pakistan and in collaboration with IBA Karachi hosted the Pink Sports Day Women's Netball Tournament at IBA Karachi.

The tournament was organized in view of the Cancer Awareness Campaign in which four women's teams PNF Academy, Sindh Netball Academy, Karachi Netball Academy and Elite Netball Academy participated.

The final match was played between PNF Academy and Karachi Netball Academy where PNF Academy won by 10-5 goals.

 The 3rd position match was played between Sindh and Elite teams which Sindh Academy won by 9-5 goals and secured the third position.

The tournament was inaugurated by Saima Nadeem, Parliamentary Secretary, Inter-Provincial Coordination, Government of Pakistan.

The Chief Guest of the closing ceremony was Mrs. Reema Ismail, wife of Governor Sindh who distributed trophies, certificates and awards among the players.

 The tournament also saw the awarding of All-Star Player awards to seven players, including Roqiya Modi, Nisha Sultan, Hamna Mudassar, Yamana Sultani, Iqra Shafiq, Momal Khurshid and Ayman Rehman.

On the occasion, Mrs. Reema Ismail, wife of Sindh Governor, said that she would conduct a breast cancer awareness campaign in Sindh through women's netball game and congratulated Saima Nadeem and Mudassar Arain. She also congratulated the winning players and teams and assured their full support.

MNA Saima Nadeem said that women athletes should take part in this campaign and spread this message to every corner.

President of Pakistan Netball Federation Mudassar Arain, MNA Saima Nadeem, Chairman IBA Student Sports Affairs Dr. Danish Ali, Sports Manager Syed Gohar Raza, Joint Secretary of Pakistan Netball Federation Muhammad Riaz, Shazia Yousuf, Anwar AhmedvAnsari and komal Gibson were present on the occasion.
