13th South Asian Games: Medal-winning shooters feted with cheques

Pakistan Sports Board has distributed cash prizes to medal winner shooting players of 13th South Asian Games 2019 via courier in Lahore & Jhelum. The officials of National Rifle Association of Pakistan presented cheques on behalf of Pakistan Sports Board.

In the 13th edition of South Asian Games, the shooting trio of Ghufran Adil (1152 pts), Aqib Latif (1135 pts) and Zeeshan Shakir (1134 pts) excelled in the rifle team event and were on song with some great marksmanship to win a Gold medal in 3-Position 50 M Rifle Men Team event.

Pakistani shooter Gulfam Joseph also won 10m air pistol shooting competition. Khalil Akhter got a bronze in singles buck up event.

The other team gold came in Centre Fire Pistol while the team were comprised of Khalil Akhtar, Ghulam Mustafa Bashir and Maqbool.
